The project promotes the intention of building a sustainable initiative in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg that empowers children and young people aged 10 - 18 through the cultural method of filmmaking.

The participants learn to turn their imagination into film in as free a setting as possible and thereby expand their creative knowledge in the cultural field of film. In addition to experiences of self-efficacy, the concept also trains organizational and participation skills.

Thematic focus: When developing the films, they are sensitized to a gender-reflective approach. Film stories offer many opportunities to break down binary gender roles.

The project is divided into 3 sub-projects. We invite all interested young people between the ages of 10 and 18 to participate!
Project duration: March to December 2024.
