The media workshop "My Film My Time" gives children and young people aged 10 to 18 the opportunity to express their own views on the social conditions in which they grow up through film. When realizing their projects, they exchange ideas with each other and work together as actors and technical production team to produce the results.

The media workshops take place after school, on weekends and on holidays in the premises of the alliance partner Gangway eV in Görlitzer Park. Under the guidance of the specialists, the authors develop shooting templates for music videos, fictional or documentary short films, talk shows and interviews. At the same time, the production team trains in the handling of film and sound technology and the use of various light sources.

The group is constantly accepting new participants to create new films with exciting stories on topics that simultaneously explain and question the social constructions of the present.

Participation is free and includes meals.
