Sewing workshop

Here you can be creative with different artistic materials as you please. For example, learn to sew, draw and do handicrafts. This can be done in your own projects or by taking part in themed sewing courses. The sewing workshop is also a place for intercultural encounters. Here you can network and exchange ideas with others in a friendly environment.

Age, gender and origin do not matter. We speak English and German!

When: Open every Thursday, 10am-6.30pm!

Where: Görlitzer Straße 70, 10997 Berlin

The sewing workshop is part of the AFIB-Africa project in Berlin. AFIB offers the following services, with a focus on the African community - especially for refugee women and families with an African migration history: social counseling, advice on career orientation; workshops on various

Topics that promote integration; media workshops and performances with young people on the topic of identity; children's activities; music and sewing as activating methods to strengthen self-esteem and expand one's own skills; intercultural lunch to promote community exchange and intercultural coexistence.
