To strengthen our team we are now looking for

Pedagogical specialist, outpatient educational support (m/f/d)

for Fula, Twi, Swahili, Portuguese and Amharic

Your tasks:

  • Advice and support for families in crisis or emergency situations as well as support in coping with their social challenges

  • Support and guidance for overwhelmed educators in all educational issues

The outpatient assistance according to SGB VIII (assistance for education) is aimed at the

  • Strengthening the parenting skills of educators and relieving their burden

  • Dealing with critical situations and challenges

  • Learning different conflict and action strategies

  • Reducing disadvantages

  • Individual, educational support for children and young people in the family.

What you bring with you:

  • Recognized pedagogical degree or comparable qualification

  • Experience working with children, young people and parents

  • Identification with the mission statement of JOLIBA eV (discrimination and racism-sensitive attitude, appreciative, transcultural and systemic working methods, resource orientation)

  • Working language: German

  • Fula, Twi, Portuguese or Amharic

  • Multilingualism advantageous and desirable

  • Team and communication skills
